Liz’s Literacy Legacy
Donation protected
Our beautiful Liz died peacefully, calmly and with dignity on Saturday evening in the arms of her cherished husband Tony. Her courage over the past 5 years in the face of her cancer diagnosis has been inspiring. Between the cancer and the treatment Liz was often unwell but rarely did she complain. She always had a smile and would much rather talk about saving the planet than her illness.
As many of you know Liz was a naturally gifted teacher with a particular passion for literacy. In lieu of flowers Liz requested donations for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation to help support education in remote communities. Please consider making a donation, big or small in memory of Liz. She would be so happy to be making a difference in the education of our Indigenous communities.
Liz’s death leaves a big hole in many lives but she will always be remembered and held in our hearts forever.
Thank you.
