Support Hearing Accessibility at the Wood Theater
Imagine attending a live theatre performance and only being able to understand a small portion of what is being said. For one in ten people who struggle with disabling hearing loss, this is a reality. But hearing loop technology can change this. Together, we can bring it to the Wood Theater in Glens Falls, NY.
So what does this mean for patrons with hearing loss?
It means being able to walk into a theater without having to stop at a box office to a request a sound amplifier that needs to be worn, and may or may not work.
It means that people with hearing loss can experience the theatre the way it's meant to be experienced.
Where will your donations go?
The Adirondack Theatre Festival is in full support of the project so that their valued patrons not only "see something new" each and every summer, but also "hear something new."
Donations for this project go to the Adirondack Theatre Festival. ATF will use 100% of the donations to purchase and install the loop technology in partnership with the Wood Theater. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
