Love Just One and Support Dave and Tina

Dave McAdams....he dreams big, loves big, celebrates big and fights big! One of his greatest loves is his amazing wife Tina, whom he refers to as his better half. She's a saint, really, and you are almost sure to find her cooking up something fun in the kitchen with her Pampered Chef business or having fun serving the community at their coffee shop. If you haven't had an opportunity to meet this amazing couple then it's safe to say you're missing out. They will make you laugh and give you hope and meet you right where you are at. Last year, Dave and Tina became the proud owners of The Local, a drive through coffee shop on McLoughlin in the parking lot of The Bomber. This labor of love requires a lot of time and effort, which Dave and Tina have embraced because they have a personal mission to love on their community.
Dave is known for many things, but sitting near the top and closest to his heart (and ours!) is sharing the story of LoveOne (formerly Laundry Love Milwaukie). It all started eight years ago with Dave sharing a few quarters and a whole lot of hope in a laundromat. Since then, Dave has worked tirelessly to make LoveOne the service-based community nonprofit that it is today. In addition to establishing four monthly free laundry events in Clackamas County, he happily answers any and all questions from individuals and groups who reach out from across the country looking to start their own laundry events. To say that Dave has earned his nickname of "Free Laundry Man" would be an understatement. Dave also invests his time coaching Rex Putnam youth baseball and working at The Local where he greets customers with a warm smile and their favorite coffee drink.
So why a GoFundMe? Dave and Tina recently learned that Dave is facing his third battle with cancer. Scans show that the Stage IV cancer is in his lungs and lymph nodes. Doctors have told Dave that the cancer is inoperable and his best option is to begin treatment with the intent to extend his life as long as possible. Dave is scheduled to begin treatment mid-July.
Our hope with this GoFundMe account is that our amazing community will gather around and support Dave and Tina during this unimaginably stressful and financially difficult time. If one quarter can help change someone's life through clean clothes, then let's think BIG for Dave and Tina and ease this time for them.
Thank you for taking the time to give back hope.
