Ela's Bereavement Package

Life brings you to unexpected places. That's how it is for us. We are Viktor and Kristina, parents of Ela Petraskova.
Ela was born in August 2015 and passed away when only 56 days old. Our precious baby was born with serious heart disease and later she was clinically diagnosed with genetic disorder Charge syndrome. We knew even before she was born, Ela will have a tough start in life. But we were ready to fight… for her, with her… and fought she did. Days went into weeks and it was getting obvious Ela was exhausted and her heart, even after surgery, couldn't support her. We had to let her go. Time stopped. As quietly as Ela came she also left. We were left here to continue living without her, our dreams shattered, hearts broken. World kept moving, but we were frozen. Living on the boat floating in never ending ocean of pain. It seemed impossible to go on. But slowly came healing through the love and memories of our brave girl and support of our dear family and friends. Slowly we found ground under our feet again, never forgetting our baby girl. Ela is always with us, we will never stop grieving for her and that's ok. She is ours and we are hers forever.
The 28th August 2018 marks three years since Ela came to this world. Because we cherish her love so much, we decided to put together a Bereavement Package for parents in similar situation as us. Unfortunately there are dozens of parents at PICU at Children's Hospital at Westmead, who lose their child every year. The Package is intended for them, to help them navigate through the loss and find healing.
The Bereavement package will contain On Coming Alive journal, angel tea light holder, photo frame with a poem, essential oil roll on, herbal tea.
