Lowe Park Inclusive Playground

Play is a fundamental part of every child's growth and development and every child deserves these opportunities.  Marion, Iowa is building an inclusive playground for children and families of all abilities and ages to use and enjoy.  The playground surface and structure will all be wheel-chair accessible! The playground will have other play features for children with sensory difficulties and other physical disabilities.

Construction is underway, but we aren't there yet and the Marion Park & Recreation Foundation needs your help to finish construction in spring 2019! Please consider a donation to the Foundation today and continue making Marion a better community for all. 

If only 10% of Marion gives $10/each, we'll raise $200,000 for the playground and future Marion Parks projects! Our goal is to raise just $100,000 by the end of December this year!! With other private and corporate donations, we're at $25,000.
