Jason Oliver is a Lieutenant with Lafayette Fire department and our closest friends. Jason and his wife Maigan went to Cancun, Mexico on Wednesday to spend a week celebrating their anniversary (which is today) Over the last two days Jason started to develop neurological symptoms and was taken by ambulance to the local hospital this afternoon where they found him to have a spontaneous brain bleed. This hospital has already made them pay nearly $3000 out of pocket just to run basic tests and get a cat scan. He is now admitted to the ICU in Cancun and has to be monitored for 7-10 days and surgery is still a possibility. Cost is $6000 a day in the ICU. Please consider helping a brother and his family offset ease the immediate financial burden until we can get him back to the states where they are covered under insurance. Anything helps.
