Luke Gwartney's Eagle Scout Project
Donation protected
Family & Friends,
For my Eagle Scout project, I am going to build a memorial for Master Deputy Brandon Collins, and the Johnson County Sheriff's Office. Master Deputy Collins died last year in the line of duty and the Johnson County Sheriff's Office has a tribute stone in his honor located in the Sheriff's Office. I am going to move the tribute stone to an outside area next to the office building, and creating a memorial site around it. The memorial site will include concrete work, installed chain and poles to surround the area, solar blue lighting to lighten the path up to the memorial stone, planted trees and bushes to bring natural color all year around, and landscaping brick to prevent erosion and tier the memorial site. Construction on the memorial site will be begin in spring 2018.
In order to make my project a reality, I am asking for the financial support of family, friends, and the community. I have estimated that the cost of my project will be about $2,500. If you are willing and able to donate to my project, I would be greatly appreciate it. Any amount would help me complete my project and assist me in earning my Eagle Rank in Scouting along with honoring Master Deputy Brandon Collins and other fallen Johnson County Deputies.
