Dear Friends
We are reaching out to you on behalf of the Nadeau family from Sarnia, Ontario. On December 9, Stephan and Jessica were given very devastating news; their beautiful five-year-old son, Lucien, was diagnosed with a massive tumour (larger than a grapefruit) inside his brain.
Their always energetic and smiling little boy had started showing signs that something wasn't right and his parents brought him to the Children's Hospital in London Ontario. CAT scans and MRIs confirmed that their little boy was gravely ill.
Lucien will undergo a very lengthy and complex neurosurgery on December 12. Depending on what the doctors find (cancerous versus non-cancerous as well as the severity) will determine how long the surgery will last; the longer the surgery, the better! A surgery of over 20 hours means they are able to remove as much of the tumour as they can.
Lucien's recovery will be long and arduous. His tumour is so large and invasive that the doctors have warned his parents that he will be hospitalized for sometime and will require extensive rehabilitation and therapy.
As you can imagine, this will cause a huge emotional and financial strain on the Nadeau family. They need your help.
If you are able to donate, even a small amount, to help support Stephane, Jessica and their three beautiful children, through this difficult time, it is greatly appreciated.
It is at times like these that we rely on the support of others to make it through a very difficult journey.
Please keep Lucien in your thoughts and prayers.
With much gratitude,
(On behalf of) The Nadeau Family
Please help spread the word!
