The Lakehead University Women's Hockey Team is asking for your help!
From an early age, a lot of female competitive hockey players’ dream of playing University Hockey. It was with this dream in mind that we decided to resurrect the Lakehead University Women’s Club Hockey Team four years ago. Since this time the team has made huge strides in progress, most notably this year we have been offered a pro-visionary membership with the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). We have made history as the first Canadian University to be accepted into the ACHA. We have recently been invited to travel all the way to Iowa to play an ACHA series weekend against The Iowa State University Cyclones in January 2016. That being said, we would have to find a way to finance our trip. We would be using the funds raised to finance our bus travel, as well as accomodations. It is at this time that we would like to ask for your assistance in allowing us to pursue our dreams. Any donation will be much appreciated!
