Surgery for Jasper

Jasper is my nine year old best friend.  He has torn his CCL (CRANIAL CRUCIATE LIGAMENT) in his right knee.  We have been treating it with pain killers and rest, but, this has not worked and Jasper will need surgery to fix his leg.  My vet has told me surgery will be $5,000 and then he will need rehab which could cost another $2,000.  I am on disability so my income is very limited and I cannot possibly afford this on my own.  

Jasper will need this surgery as soon as possible.

I want Jasper to be back to his old self, running and swimming and playing in his sprinkler.  It has been hard to see him so sad, especially when the weather is warm and he can't go and play in the water.  Jasper is a very special dog to me.  He is the sweetest most gentle guy.  He is my companion and walking buddy.  I'd be lost without him.

I would be forever grateful for any help and support.  It would be wonderful for my best friend to be on his feet again and I would do just about anything to see that happen.  Any help is most appreciated and I cannot express how important this would be to my life as well as Jasper's.
