SHARK CONSERVATION
Donation protected
THINGS I AM RAISING MONEY FOR:
NEW CAMERA for my underwater filmmaking. I have been sponsored by Nauticam housings but cannot yet afford the camera system for the housing, my camera is the most important tool in my work, footage I’ve shot has been used internationally by conservation groups and I focus on documenting things that need to be brought to the public eye like the shark cull.
FUEL; From checking shark nets to following live export ships to try document the possibility of sharks following their boats inshore, allot of my projects require fuel which is essential to obtain footage and is used sparingly.
MERCURY AND GENETICS TESTING: I have had huge success with this in the past, waging a war against many shark meat retailers by being able to take them test results showing them the high levels of mercury or arsenic in their shark meat. So far more than three shops including on supermarket chain has STOPPED selling shark. The mercury tests are expensive though and funding is needed.
AWARNESS MATERIAL This covers a range of things from projector shire to show footage on the side of buildings and information pamphlets and posters. It also helped fund a protest I held in Brisbane city last year where I held a real dead baby shark in the street with a gas mask and information about hark meat being toxic, it had huge success.
I do not make money from my footage, this account will be set up for any material that is needed to assist me in doing what I do.
Any donations are greatly appreciated, and while 100% go towards only the necessities of shark conservation.
Thank you!
