Celebration of Life for Maggie Long

Hello, I am Sterling Fraser and I have been a friend of the Long family since I was in elementary school with Maggie's sister. In an effort to help the Long family I am organizing this campaign so that they may focus on being with each other. 

The Long family experienced a loss few of us can comprehend when they lost their daughter, sister and friend, Maggie.  Maggie was at the center of the community in so many ways.  She had a passion for speaking and story telling, leading her to join the speech team and act in local productions at the high school.  She was a leader and community organizer, dedicating her time to creating events with Student Council and coordinating events with Key Club.  Maggie was so many things to so many of us, but we will always remember how she always led with kindness. Whether you were a friend or a stranger, you could rest assured Maggie would welcome you into her life with the most genuine warmth and a sincere heart.

I will be giving all the donations to the family at the end of this campaign to pay for a celebration of Maggie's life for her friends, family, classmates, and community.  It is our hope that the community can come together and help support us in creating this event.  Any contributions would be greatly appreciated by the Long family, as we arrange the Celebration of Maggie's life.  

If any funds are received beyond what's needed to pay for the service, the Long family will be donating those proceeds to The Venue Theatre Company in Conifer, CO to further their mission of encouraging student's passion for the arts. Maggie was involved in The Venue during her high school career and developed a love of theatre and found a home in their wonderful community.
