Vietnam Wall of Southwest Florida

Plans are in process for the building of a black granite 60% sized replica wall identical to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. that was dedicated on Veterans’ Day 1982. The wall will be built at Laishley Park in Punta Gorda, Florida and will contain names of more than fifty-eight thousand men and the eight women who gave their lives in service in the Vietnam Conflict. The Wall will fulfill its mission to honor, educate and heal. Deliberately setting aside the controversies of the war, the Southwest Florida Vietnam Wall will honor the men and women who served when their Nation called upon them.
