Make-A-Wish Korea-Wishes Come True!
On Saturday, October 14th, CBHK will be partnering with Make-A-Wish Korea in order to raise money to grant a 'wish' for an ill child.
The event, 'Hockey Day Korea (HDK),' will bring together players, children, VIP's and media in order to celebrate hockey in Korea, teach ball hockey to youth and most importantly, raise money for Make-A-Wish Korea. HDK will be held at the Jamsil Inline Rink at the Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul and will feature Jim Paek, the Korea National Men's Ice Hockey Coach, as well as the Canadian Ambassador to Korea, Mr. Eric Walsh.
Featured in this picture is 'wish-child' Sun-Ho Jung, who recently had his wish come true of becoming a chef for a day with the support of Make-A-Wish Korea and the generousity of people like you. Make-A-Wish Korea operates as a part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation international, and its goal is to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions in Korea.
Please give generously to help Make-A-Wish Korea grant another wish to a 'wish-child' like Sun-Ho.
Thank you!
