Make time for Muzahid

I am Muzahid Masum, an international PhD student at Macquarie University. I moved to Australia from Bangladesh with my wife in early 2017 to study how ants navigate. Unfortunately, since November 2017 I have had several significant health complications which were investigated by different cardiologists and urologists across multiple hospitals in Sydney. After nearly a year, in October 2018, a diagnosis was made and I went through a surgery for severe hydronephrosis in the right kidney. In November  2018, I have to go through yet another surgery due to a rare complication (1 in a million) in the urinary system. Amidst all this, I became a dad to a beautiful girl in January 2018 and my wife is staying at home to care for her.

My health insurance covers only about 20-25% of some costs. My PhD scholarship will have to be suspended for at least 3 months so that I can go through the surgery and ensure I recover well. 

My family and I are kindly requesting for any help to support my medical expenses and to a small extent minor living expenses. Your help with go a long way in ensuring I regain my health and to subsequently spend quality time with my 10 month old daughter and wife.
