Malachi, Victim of Gun Violence

On June 6th, Malachi, 10 years old, was struck in the head by a stray bullet amidst careless gunfire while playing in his own neighborhood.
Malachi was seriously wounded and had to be flown by helicopter to CHKD where he underwent emergency brain surgery and was put on a vent. He is currently in intensive care in serious condition.
His family is scared and standing vigil by their son. This is causing severe financial difficulties for them.
Malachi is a bright, kind, energetic boy. He has a heart of gold and is loved by his family, friends, and fellow scouts.
