Please help our family
Donation protected
Every day, GoFundMe is full of people with heartbreaking stories that can turn into triumph just from the help of people around the world.
Again, I am praying that in doing this, the wheels can turn for our family.
At first, this was a campaign to help out my mother's business. She runs it from her home still barely making it by. The donations that were given so far helped and gave her a spark of home that pushed her along for a few months.
Unfortunately, the donations ceased despite my efforts but, we have to beg and try again.
In the picture you see above is a photo of my mother, on the right, and her two sisters, Juanita in the middle and Catherine to the far left.
Recently, as of June 3rd, the eldest sister, Juanita, passed away after suffering a sudden stroke. Using a great deal of funding that we did not have, we sorrowfully buried Juanita on June 10th. Juanita lived with my mother and Catherine in an old house in Philadelphia.
Juanita's passing was a shock to us all and since our family continues to struggles through these times where there it is hard to get heatlh and life insurance, you can imagine how it feels to have a have a family that can't even provide some form of help even after death.
My mother, Michelle, and her sister, my last aunt, Catherine (shown on the far left in the photo), are the final members of their original kin. And were left with nothing. Both are reaching their 70s and are losing their emotional, physical, and mental strength hanging on to bare minimums to survive. They can hardly get food for themselves, bills continue to pile, and I listen to downtrodden woeful voices over the phone almost constantly.
They have no place to go if their house forecloses and I'm doing what I can to ensure that we avoid that ending.
Which is why, again, I've come to revitalize this campaign. Picking up where it left off.
Yes, I know there are TONS of others suffering. Loved ones suffereing from diseases, homelessness, struggles through college, children hungry, and animals that need our help, but I also do not know what else to do but to come here and beg for you help.
If I could send you a photo of me on my knees with hands clasped together in prayer, I'm not sure if it would be enough to get this message across:
We. Need. Your. Help.
Please consider helping us reach the goal above.
I mean it from the bottom of my heart, on the grave of my deceased aunt, that all these fund go NOWHERE expect to my mother and aunt it helping them get above water as their find ways to comfortably maintain themselves.
They need you and I beg for you to help them out.
In the attempt to raise 200,000 dollars for them, (which is where the stomachs turn, I know.) I realize that asking for only 10,000 may open hearts a little bit more.
To help give you a clear picture of what this will be used for:
I, for one, know that this may not be enough for them to fully buy the house, thus chopping down a heafty amount of the worries yet the money:
1. Will be used to get already pass due bills fully paid.
2. Will be used to help get the plumbing fix in the old house as the two sisters were cheated out by the brokers of the house and left with a sewerage problem that continues to get worse and worse.
3. To provide vet care for our loving dog who watches over my mother due to her epliespy issues since the two sisters now live alone in the house.
4. To get them food. I watch my aunt get skinnier and skinnier every time I get a chance to visit them.
5. Help for medical expensives as my mother had to get routine checks for her epliespy problems and barely gets enough through what she gives through social security.
6. To be honest to save some money for a rainy day since neither one of the sisters could take out life insurance policies due to the great phrase of "pre-existing conditions"
I hope that this list helps out in giving you a picture of how we intend to use what you can give to pull these super giving and loving women the chance they need to bounce back from a heavy loss.
Please, please, please give something to help us reach this goal and maybe even beyong.
Again, I beg for your assistance.
