Manuel and Rosalia Ochoa Lose Everything in Coolidge, Arizona House Fire
On Friday, June 8th, 2018, a Coolidge grandmother and grandfather, Manuel and Rosalia Ochoa, lost everything in a house fire that started from a leak in the propane tank they used for cooking. The home in which the couple lived was a total loss, and unfortunately there was no insurance on the property, belongings, or important legal documents. They are in immediate need of funds to purchase food, clothing, and medicine.

Manuel Ochoa is a long-time member of the Coolidge community. He is a diabetic and has a severe heart condition. Manuel lost all medicines, his abdominal binder, and even his special orthopedic shoes. He cannot wear other shoes, and is currently wearing only socks and plastic flip-flop sandals. He has no clothes other than those he was wearing at the time of the fire.

Manuel sings in the choir at St. James Catholic Church in Coolidge, Arizona, and donates his time serving food and providing emergency supplies to the faithful making the pilgrimage from Nogales to Magdalena, Sonora.

Always lending a helping hand to the community, this year he generously donated use of his trailer to Central Arizona College students for participation in holiday parades in Coolidge and San Tan Valley.

Rosalia Ochoa Moreno is also an upstanding member of the local community and has lost all personal belongings, clothing, and cherished family memories. Her greatest passion is bringing people and delicious food together and often provided meals for the sick, elderly, and needy.

Any donation you can spare to help this deserving couple in need is appreciated. They have lost everything they spent an entire life building and sharing with others.

I have created this GoFundMe page as friend of the family because I would like to help the Ochoas get back on their feet.
