March on DC Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
On January 21st, 2017, women and allies will march in peaceful protest from the Lincoln Memorial to the White House to show our strength, power, and courage, and to demonstrate our disapproval of the President-elect and his anti-woman rhetoric.
Help us to assist women from traditionally marginalized communities who want to join the march on Washington, but are needing help getting there. Preference for this scholarship will go to women of color, immigrant women, transgender women, women with disabilities, survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and women from religious minorities.
Additional donations will be used for signage and other march supplies to be used in both the DC march and the march in Salt Lake City on January 23rd.
Time is of the essence. In an effort to avoid high ticket costs and assist as many women as possible, we will need to start providing assistance to attendees no later than Thursday December 1st, 2016.
