Mariah Moves Across the Country!
Donation protected
Hello all! My name is Mariah Claiborne, though some of you know me as MC.
I’m driving back to Texas to move there—and as we know, when it rains, it pours. I VERY recently hit a financial roadblock attempting to pay for a life-sustaining medication I need. It is $1,000 for approximately 20 pills. This is not an exaggeration. I need to take ONE every day.
After figuring out how to afford it—I’m now struggling to scrape together the money that will bring me home to Texas to be with my friends and family in this transitional period where I need to place all my attention on my health and recovery.
I am financially unable to do this alone.
It costs money to move across the country--and any and all of this money would go into paying for the gas money, car fixes, and one hotel room to help me break up the 26 hour drive I’ll be embarking on. It also helps me pay for the transport of all my belongings.
I would be eternally grateful for your help, your shares, and your encouragement. I also finally finished the manuscript of my poetry book: Open; A Collection of Poems on Depression, Anxiety & Hope,
and would forward a copy to every single person who donates!!!
I have always thought of myself as someone who "pays it forward". With your help, I know I could do even more of the same.
