Allen Hustin is a purple heart veteran that served four tours in his time in the serves and the out come like many veteran's is extreme P.T.S.D, Allen Hustin lives on a military base in fort brag north carolina with his three young boys ages 8,6,and 2 along with his two support dogs Mario and Luigi Casey Hustin our veteran's wife is currently serving our country and is overseas in Korea. allen hustin was up here in Michigan visiting for the summer On July 8th 2016 Mario and Luigi accidently escaped out of our veteran"s mother inlaw"s kennel to now they are being accused of killing three goats and a cat but there is no evidence supporting that our veterans dogs have done this the evidence in this case does not add up one bit . the goats were already bloated with flies everywhere, there was no blood at all on the dogs and one goat only had a little blood by it , the dogs showed no aggression with animal control or anyone else, all the evidence has been proven to be insufficent to me,the Dogs' death sentences appealed
During a trial on Aug. 18, Ionia County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Adam Dreher argued the dogs were a danger to society, while the pet owners represented themselves and called a witness.
Ionia County Animal Shelter Manager Robin Anderson wrote a letter to the court on Aug. 2 arguing the dogs should not be killed. She said on July 8 Martin told both animal control officers who responded to the incident that he did not wish to press charges, but on July 12 he called up and said he wanted the dogs destroyed and restitution for his goats.
“It was never my opinion or the opinion of the animal control officers that these dogs should be destroyed,” Anderson said in the letter. “It's a terrible tragedy what happened to Mr. Martin's family pets, the goats and the cat, however I do not feel it justifies taking the life of another family pet to cover the restitution costs.”
Judge Voet ordered the dogs to be uthenized but we are currently in appeal for there lives
