Mary Clay Kenner - Accident Fund

On January 22nd, 2017, Mary Clay was found in critical condition after an incredibly sevier car accident. Her white pick-up truck had crashed into a large tree on Old Hickory Blvd in the opposite flow of traffic in West Nashville. The cause of her losing control of the vehicle is unknown. Mary Clay passed away at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and after being in a coma for 4 days. The doctors said she had a slight chance of surviving the horrible accident. There was a beautiful memorial service and celebration of life in her honor on January 28th. We are asking for all of your prayers for her family and dear friends who will miss her very much. 



Mary Clay was a beloved wife to Steve and an incredible mother to Solon. Solon turned eleven the day after Mary Clay's accident and was Mary Clay's best buddy.

If you know Mary Clay, you know that she made you feel like the most important person in the world when speaking with her. She was a loyal friend, an intentional listener, a wild child with a sense of adventure, an encouraging sister, a lover of God, people, and nature, and a golden light to all of us in this world.

This fund will help support the medical expenses, as well as support Steve & Solon in this tragic time. Every dollar amount is appreciated.

I started this campaign to help Mary Clay's family with any medical expenses, to benefit Solon someday, and anyother expenses the family needs help with. Steve, Mary Clay's husband will have full access to withdraw the funds for these needs. Being a good friend of Mary Clay's, I wanted to help in any way possible from this horrible tragedy. I live in Nashville and worked closely with Mary Clay for a few years and will miss her dearly.
