Matt Hughes Skate Park Rebuild

Donation protected
Matt Hughes was just 16 when he passed away from a skateboarding accident. After his death, the City of Myrtle Beach decided to name the skate park after him. That was 18 years ago. Since then, the skatepark has pretty much gone down hill and is in bad shape. The city of Myrtle Beach has decided to rebuild the skatepark and they have allocated 100k to go towards this project but that's not going to be enough. This is the only skatepark located in the Grand Strand area and kids as well as adults from all areas go there to skate. This project is important to me because Matt Hughes was my little brother and keeping his legacy alive means a lot. But, this project is just as important to the skateboarding community because to some, it's the only place they have to go. Not everyone wants to play baseball, basketball, or even football. We as a community have to recognize that skateboarders see this as a sport too and it's their passion. They deserve to have a nice, safe, and updated park to skate in. So, with that said, on behalf of all the skateboarders out there and the community of Myrtle Beach, I'm asking you to please donate. Thank you
