Matthew's Funeral Expenses Fund

Matthew Stone’s brother, Joe Stone, had been working as paramedic in the Ukraine, saving lives despite the considerable risk to himself. He was killed this morning by an improvised explosive device while on patrol with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

Matthew has been out of work recently, and this has drained his savings. He has no resources for which to handle this tragedy. He needs to travel to Arizona to be with his mother. He needs to get his brother’s body home. He needs to put together the funeral. He needs money for the little expenses—an Uber ride from the airport, a lunch on the go—that will arise as he deals with this tragedy.

Joe Stone was a hero. One of those rare people whose selflessness and bravery makes this world a better place. Anything you can give-- $5, $10—will be a huge help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
