Help Skyler Pay His Medical Bills

Donation protected
Skyler Mikesell is the beloved team captain of his collegiate Track Team and an All-American Athlete. Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Skyler is a senior in college, and majoring in Communications and Business Marketing.

On February 23rd, Skyler was in a career ending motorcycle accident. After being rushed to the ER at Henry Mayo Hospital in Santa Clarita, CA, Skyler underwent emergency surgery to save his left leg, followed by a second surgery to repair his left tibia. He is currently in traction at Henry Mayo, awaiting transfer to Cedars Saini Hospital in Los Angeles, where he will have a third surgery to repair his left hip. Thankfully, there was no injury to his head, neck or spine.

From the moment Skyler came to after the crash, his heart attitude has been “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord,” Job 1:21. Although suffering much pain and disappointment, Skyler trusts in the sovereignty of his great God. Rather than turning inward, his concern is for his family, teammates, and friends. He continues to overflow with thankfulness for the many opportunities and memories God blessed him with during his athletic career and is confident God is using his accident for his good and God’s glory.

Our hope is to raise $10,000 to help offset the cost of mounting medical bills, as well as provide support for Skyler’s parents as they miss weeks of work during their stay in CA.

Thank you for your love and prayers and for considering donating to Skyler’s gofundme campaign!
