We are Tucson High School’s M.E.Ch.A. (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan). This is our first year coming back to Tucson High in a couple of years. In April De Paul University is hosting M.E.Ch.A. Nationals in Chicago Il. Great opportunities come once in a while, you could either take them or let them pass by in the LUCHA!

Hello, my name is Daniela Castro and I am a junior at Tucson High School and this is my first year in M.E.Ch.A. and it has already made a huge impact on me as a Chicana young woman. It has helped me find my identity and has helped me make new relationships with great people that will last a lifetime. In April De Paul University will be hosting M.E.Ch.A Nationals in Chicago. I feel that attending this conference will give me the knowledge I’ve been hungry for. Knowledge I can carry and will be useful through out my life. If you could please make donations to our club it will be much appreciated.

My name is Daniel Guillen and our M.E.Ch.a group has the opportunity to go to the city of Chicago and meet other Mechistas to learn from them and their experiences. This is an amazing opporunity to learn about society, we do not want to let this opportunity to learn about our culture and how to help our hispanic society, we do not want to let this opportunity pass by. As you may know this trip will have its cost, we are doin everything possible to go. We are fundraising and we need your help to give us any donations feasible. Anything would be appreciated and thank you for your time.
My name is Cynthia Guillen. I go to Tucson High School and I am a part of M.E.Ch.A. I am very glad to have this club because it has opened new windows of opportunity for me like going to Chicago. But we need help. We don’t have enough time to raise all the money. Please help us reach our goal and make our dreams come true.
My name is Ana Cobos-Lugo I am a junior at Tucson High School. I am very proud to have joined mecha. Mecha has been a hu8ge impact in my life, and I learned many things im sure I wouldn’t have learned if I didn’t join. Having a chance to be part of all the mant groups that are going to nationals would be great!nationals is one Tucson high mechas main goal. Yo me llamo Celeste Mora, I’m a Tucson High School student and also a MECHistas. We are trying to go to M.E.Ch.A. nationals in Chicago but we are in need of help. M.E.Ch.A is a great way to get involve with the community struggles. To meet others in M.E.Ch.A would be an amazing and great experience for me that would last a lifetime.
