Medical & Travel Expenses
Donation protected
Bob was diagnosed with Guillain-Beret Syndrome (GBS). In a matter of 24 hours from admission to the hospital, he was put on a ventilator. Bob started out at St. Mary's Hospital, transferred to MU, and is now at Landmark Hospital in Columbia. The disease has destroyed all nerves going to his muscles, causing his chest muscles to not even function properly. He will be at Landmark for the next 28 days, and then transferred to Iowa because MO has no long-term ventilation facilities. He will be on the ventilator for the next 8-12 months, or longer. Family needs help with medical expenses, as well as travel expenses so that we are able to visit. We will be holding a benefit dinner and auction in the future, please stay tuned for updates as plans get set and put into motion. Prayers are also appreciated. Thank you!
