Medical Bills for Allie Cat
Donation protected
This is Allie, my sweet Maine Coon mix cat. She's been with me for 15 years, has always been a healthy, spritely, affectionate, goofy cat. But she recently got sick, and within a week was diagnosed with lymphoma.
This past Saturday, Allie had surgery to remove her spleen where a mass was found, and to have biopsies done to make sure the cancer hasn't spread. I'll know the results of the biopsies in about a week. In addition, Allie may have to do chemo and get treatment for possible IBS. Allie is back home now and recovering.
Allie is a tough little lady, and so far she's exceeded expectations in her recovery.
But as you can imagine, all the tests, surgeries and medication were unexpected expenses, and I had to pay upfront. All told, I've spent about $7000 on the diagnosis and surgery so far (surgery invoice below, with some personal information redacted).

I'm very lucky in that I have pet insurance, which, after the deductible, will reimburse me for 70% of the bills. But that takes a couple of weeks to receive, and my credit card bill will soon be due. I'm doing what I can - canceling a business trip and selling some things to cover the costs. I am asking for help with only a portion of what I have left to pay.
Thank you so much for your help. I'm hoping to have my sweet little furbaby with me a few more years.
