Melanie's miracle. Help hope happen

Donation protected

This fundraiser is for the beginning middle and end stages of advanced Therapies and heart transplant program that can possibly save my life. Since 2007 I have fault a long hard battle with coronary artery disease, and congestive heart failure. I am a mother of two sons, and I would very much like to live another 10 to 20 years to continue to be a part of their lives. I have a total of 18 stents, too many heart attacks to count and I had a Quintuple  bypass when I was 36 years old in the best health of my life. That heart attack and open heart surgery change my life, and not for the better. It is an uphill climb and by All rights I should have already been dead. I don't know if the Lord is keeping me here because he has something he needs me to finish or if he is keeping me here to be a testimony for someone else. My doctors at Vanderbilt heart have said that there are no more revascularization options available to me. They have since referred me to the CHF heart transplant team at the Vanderbilt University Hospital. I go to Nashville regularly for doctor's appointments and test. In Phase 1 of preparing for advanced therapies or heart transplant you have Extended Stays in hotels and busy schedules everyday with doctors or coordinators for upcoming procedures that you will prepare you for . LVAD or heart transplant. In some cases it could mean both the lvad being a bridge for heart transplant. Just going through the evaluation process which includes Labs, procedures, psychiatry, CT scans, and many many more test that I don't have enough room to list. I do know that I need to raise $1,500 between now and February 27th. I will be in Nashville from February 27th through March 2nd for training purposes, pulmonary artery function testing, echocardiogram, pretty much any kind of test you can think of. I will undergo a heart cath of the right side of my heart. They will enter through my neck and check the pressures in my heart and also my pulmonary lung function. I prayed in 2008 for the opportunity to at some point receive a new heart, and that prayer is in the process of being answered. Unfortunately I'm not married and do not have a husband to share in the financial burden of this miracle that I have the opportunity to receive. I'm counting on you as my friends, family in my community to help this miracle happen. I hope each of you will take the time to read this story, and if you have any questions inbox me on Facebook. I also ask for you to share this campaign so that it may reach as many people as possible. I also ask that you continue to pray for me and my family during this very complicated time. Your thoughts, your prayers, and your donations are the only way that this miracle can happen. It's very hard for me to ask for help, and I would not do so if it wasn't necessary. I would like to thank each one of you and advance, and God bless each one of you!

In 2010 I posted this picture with the caption. The caption read can someone please get me a new heart. I'm closer to getting that new heart than ever before. Help this miracle happen. Please!

I have to raise $1,500 between now and the 27th of February 2017. I will be in Nashville from the 27th of February to the 2nd of March. During that time I will have many many medical test. I will also be meeting with the social worker, the psychiatrist, along with the financial counselor, and theCHF heart transplant coordinator. If I have not raised at least $1,500 before the 27th of February 2017 I will once again have to postpone and reschedule with the heart transplant team. You have the ability to not only change my life but to save my life. I'm glad to know that I have a wonderful group of friends who will help in any way they can.
