Melvin Pineda

On the night of January 11th, Melvin Pineda was hit by a speeding car in front of his house. He and his partner Ashley just parked and were getting out of his car when he was hit. The driver never attempted to apply breaks and just drove away leaving him for dead. We still do not know who hit him. His immediate family witnessed him lying in the street and were afraid he wouldn’t make it.

Thankfully he is still here but he suffered a broken neck, has a badly fractured jaw and multiple facial fractures. He also had 60% of his right thigh torn off along with other injuries. His road to recovery will be a long one. So far he has had 3 facial & jaw surgeries, 2 surgeries for his leg and he may need more.

Melvin is a hard working man, great friend and works two jobs to support his family. This accident will make it impossible for him to work for several months. Any contribution to this campaign is much appreciated and will go towards his medical bills and survival during this difficult time.
