Memorial Fund for Heather M Holland
Donation protected
As many of you know my family suffered a devistating loss, and we have been touched by the outpour of love and concern we have received. This has been so overwhelming and so very unexpected!
Beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend…a heavenly angel taken too soon! Heather Michelle Holland, age 38, of Willow Park, Texas, (and 2nd grade teacher at Ikerd Elementary School) passed away on Sunday, February 4th, 2018 due to complications from the flu.
She leaves behind our brother Frank and their two young children. As you know, during this time the medical bills and funeral expenses can add up. Many of you have asked how you can help... well this is truly what Heather would have said...Say a prayer, protect your family how you can, and donate a book to a library.
Heather was an incredibly amazing woman who loved her family (they meant the world to her.) She was an avid reader and shared this love with her children, her family, and her students. She always taught ‘do unto others as you would have done to you’, and made sure kindness, manners, and humility were in everything she did (both in words and actions.) She would be humbled by all the wellwishes and concerns.
For those who still insist to do more, we have created the Go-Fund-Me account on Heather's behalf. Any amount will help with immediate expenses Frank will incure, and anything above will go to their children for college.
Some of Heather's most favorite quotes sums up the wonderful person she was, and our family would like to share them with you.
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.” - Helen Keller
“It is our choices that show what we truly are far more than our abilities;” and “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if only one remembers to turn on the light.” – J.K. Rowling
Thank you from our entire family for loving and caring about Heather and her family.
