Memorial Fund for Lila C. Wilson & Family
Donation protected
Lila C. Wilson was a years-long friend and loved one to many of us in the Seattle dance music community, taken from us far too soon this week at age 38. Lila was known for her ready smile that would light up a room, her fierce dancing, and as a warrior for those who needed help most, including migrant families and those in marginalized communities. She was a gorgeous soul, and so many of us are in shock with her passing.
Lila is survived by her 14-month old child and husband, and extended family. You can read about the heartbreaking story surrounding Lila's death here.
In light the terrible tragedy around her death, we want to raise funds to help with any emergency expenses her husband and child may be experiencing, whether in terms of funeral arrangements, housing, or other living expenses. Nothing can truly make up for this horrible loss, but we want to help relieve the financial burden for the family in this time of grief, especially in the crisis surrounding her death.
Thank you for your help.
