Lillee Rose Watch

Lillee Rose was born premature on June 27th, four days after we buried our mother, her great-grandmother, Rose Byrd.  Given the nickname “Early-Byrd” by her maternal grand-father, she has the spirit of her great-grandmother and is the joy to our sorrow.

Lillee Rose started off doing very well but developed an infection that has plagued her little body.  She has blood on her brain which has caused her little body and head to swell; she is struggling to maintain oxygen and produce blood on her own.  She receives blood transfusions and platelets on a regular basis and once she is strong enough she will have surgery to close a hole in her heart.  Lillee Rose hails from a line of ‘boxing’ champions so she is a fighter and will come out victorious in Jesus name!

Her medical expenses have exceeded over $300,000 and her young parents, Stephen and Leah (Apple and State of Nevada employees) will have a host of bills once Lillee Rose has completed her hospital stay.
