About Me:
Originally, I come from California and graduated from Cal State Long Beach in 2016. I left the state and went on to serve as a Missionary at Camp Gray Catholic Camp in Wisconsin for 2 years, leading retreats for the youth of the Madison Diocese. After my last Summer in 2018, I met a sister from the Sisters of Mary Morning Star, who was a presence of prayer, hope and joy at Camp for 6 weeks.
During her time there, she opened my eyes to the treasure that is the Word of God, and I opened up about my restless heart!
Christ, for a long time, had been asking me, “What do you seek?” (Jn 1) and spent the last 5 years searching for an answer. So she invited me for a week-long retreat in the Ghent, MN convent, and I ended up never leaving! I’m currently in the School of Life with the Sisters, and it has been a life of great joy to respond to Christ’s “Come and see.” After 6 months in this program, I truly desire to continue and to consecrate my life to Jesus!
I have student loans that total $10,000 that must be paid off before I enter! If 100 people donate $100, I'll be able to make my goal! Please consider supporting me in pursing my vocation! Your prayers are also received with gratitude!
The Sisters of Mary, Morning Star:
The Sisters of Mary Morning Star are a contemplative, non-cloistered community who seek to be a presence of prayer, of joy, and of hope for the Church.
We seek to live in the spirit of the Beloved Disciple, St. John, who responded to the invitation of Christ’s “Come and see” (Jn 1), rested upon the heart of our Lord, remained with him all the way to the Cross, and received Mary as his mother in the home of his heart.
We seek to be workers of Wisdom and to be "fully alive" in all the aspects of our human person through our philosophical study, the Word of God, our life of adoration, manual work and fraternal charity.

What is the School of Life?
It is a discernment program of the Sisters lasting from 6 months to 2 years, to allow those who are attracted to the religious life to make a truly free choice, the Sisters invite young women to live their life and experience the religious life from within, and not merely in an exterior way—to understand better their life, is to live it for oneself!
