Mattress Firm Employee Relief Fund

For the first time in 166 years, two Category 4 hurricanes made landfall in the United States during the same year, much less within weeks of each other. Hurricane Harvey, which affected our South Texas markets and caused devastating flooding to our hometown of Houston, is the largest hurricane to hit Texas in decades. Shortly following, Hurricane Irma hit the Florida Keys and caused power outages and tornadoes across the state. Many of our Mattress Firm family members have experienced extensive loss and damage from the storms.

To help, Mattress Firm has donated $25,000 to employees affected by the storms and will now match up to an additional $125,000 in donations. While we do not yet know the full effect of the storms, we know we have hundreds of affected and some lost everything. In true Mattress Firm form, our team responded quickly with a willingness to step in during a time of need.
