Michael Dupre Price Legacy Fund

Michael Dupre Price was my little brother.  He was a loving father, loyal family member and possessed an all around, infectiuos sense of humor. Unique is an understatement when comes to explaining this young man. Like many of our young black men in America. My brother did the best he could to take care of his boys and be there for his family. On Friday he was shot and killed in the hail of senseless violence that has taken the lives of so many of our young black people.  Im still trying to wrap my head around the fact that my 36 year old brother with two sons is not going to be around to see his children's triumphs. He was so in love with and optimist about his youngest sons future, especially the hope of him starting school soon. These are the things that are breaking my heart. I always wonder if murderers knew that their victims where just normal everyday people trying to make it home just like them, would they still kill and want to murder? If they could only put themselves in their victims shoes and think about the life lasting effect that they are imposing on so so so many other lives based on a temporary strong emotion. I dont want to say we have to do better because we know this already. I just pray that one day there is a paridym shift and we THINK BETTER as a culture. Then and only then will we DO BETTER.  Please help me continue to raise funds for Carter in which we just recently found out was his child in addition to counceling for any family member that may be in need.
