MIDTOWN DISASTER RELIEF FUND
Donation protected
We are a collective group helping 250 misplaced families in the South Carolina area after hurricane Florence.
Jaret Hucks, The Owner of The Midtown Hotel in Myrtle Beach has opened all of the rooms up for FREE to help everyone he can in need of a place to stay until they can get back to their home again. Some may never be able to return because the flooding has been so bad in most parts of South Carolina.
As a collective, we have been able to feed, clothe, and try our best to keep everyone in good spirits during this time of need.
We are asking for donations to help get everyone back on their feet again, most of these people have bills racking up and no relief in sight.
We have organized a team of people to help distribute donations accordingly, to those in need.
We would like to say THANK YOU for reading our story and we truly appreciate any donations to help these families in need!
People have asked : Where are the donations going now? The flood is over . We still have famlies that are still having hardships, we still have famlies here at The Midtown. We are getting them into homes of there own the donaions help with first months rent and deposits, replacing furniture they lost. Replacing home goods that we all use every day that we dont think about sheets ,towles, pots ,pans, trashcans, dishes, a hairbrush. All of you that donated helped play santa to a bunch of children that the parents had to put money into their homes and didn't have the money to put into Christmas this year. You have all made a diffrence in a lot of lives. We thank each and everyone of you.
