MIG'S PCT HIKE 2017 (YIPPEE)!

Hi, my name is Mig Whitt, I am an artist and lover of the outdoors.  I am backpacking on a thru-hike on the Pacific Crest Trail starting in April of 2017.  I am fundraising for two organizations.  I am raising money for the MAZIE MORRISON FOUNDATION  which helps get scholarships for kids to go camping  and also  CASTING FOR RECOVERY which enrich's the lives of women with breast cancer providing  fly-fishing retreats.  The cost for me to be on the trail is about 5,000.  I have spent close to 4,000 of my own money for my equipment to be safe on the trail.  I will be on the trail 5 months or more depending on the weather.  The monies will be split evenly.  I believe in camping, I believe that every kid in America should be able to spend time outdoors and learn and care for nature.   I believe that sometimes in life, things happen unexpectantly and sometimes we get sick, really sick, so I want to reach out to those women who are struggling with breast cancer and feel like they have no hope.  Let's help humanity out, Let's be real and  give a kid a chance to play, give a woman hope for this life changing event,  help me, help them, Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  You can follow my blog also at" Happy Camper Girl".
