In Memory of Michael Keegan
Donation protected
On a sunny April 9th, just after 4PM on a curvy country road in New Market, Maryland, we lost Michael Edward Keegan to a tragic motorcycle accident, one week after his 42nd birthday.
Michael ascended leaving his wife Kathy and twin daughters heartbroken, and his many family members, Marine Corps buddies, friends, and co-workers in disbelief that he was suddenly gone.

Michael was in charge of internal communications for the Department of Homeland Security, where he was one of the only staff members in his office serving since the creation of the Department. While the most important titles he held were beloved husband and cherished father, Michael's next most important accomplishment was rooted in his proud service in the United States Marine Corps, leaving active duty as a Seargent.
While being at home with his wife and baby-girls was his prefered place, his second most comfortable setting was in the company of Marines. While Michael died way too soon, he did not die alone. The fellow Marine Corps veterans he was riding with from Leathernecks Nation MC, Black Sheep, were at his side as he took his last breath.

While we cannot bring Michael back, we can make sure that his memory and fatherly responsibilities are met for his family long into the future. The funds from this effort will be presented to Michael's wife Kathy, to invest in the twin's future college costs. This is so that when they enter their freshman class in a dozen years, they will do so knowing that the people that loved their father wanted them to know that our commitment to them and their mother was then, is now, and will be forever.
