Long term care for Miracle the pig

Donation protected
Miracle was born August 31st 2016. He was born to a litter of 6. He came out almost simultaneously with 1 sibling and both umbilical cords were still attached to mom so maybe he was squashed and didn't have room to grow. I didnt think he would live, as moms usually abandon the "sick" ones. Babe did not though. I watched as he figured out how to walk on his front legs in a matter of a few minutes. Later that night I disturbed mom and he ended up about 2 1/2 feet away from her and I watched as he walked over to her, climb over her head and push a sibling off "his" nipple! I knew right then what a fighter he was. The next week was a lot of looking in on him to see if he was still thriving and to my surprise and delight he was!! We are now in the process of getting a wheelchair made for him and preparing his future. Hes a strong little guy!!!
