Miss Tennessee USA 2017 (Oak Ridge)

My name is Emily Stansfield, and I have been selected to compete in the Miss Tennessee USA pageant for 2017! I will be representing Oak Ridge, TN with the title role of Miss Oak Ridge! I hope I can represent my hometown with as much pride as possible! I am raising money to go towards the expenses of this pageant, such as the theater production costs, food, hotel, registration, etc.

Any donation of any size will be greatly appreciated!

Never in my life would I have thought I would do anything remotely like this, but when I received the brochure for the pageant, something inside me felt like I should just jump out of my box and go for it!  (I did not tell my parents about this until 3 weeks later when I got the phone interview and my dad thought the caller was a scammer).

I would like to use my title and my little time in the spotlight to raise awareness for eating disorders. I've seen so many friends fall under the spell of eating disorders, and I want to make sure that everyone knows that this is a serious disorder and should never be taken lightly.

This pageant will be the first I've ever competed in, but I want it to be one of the most memorable experiences.
