It is with overwhelming joy that I announce my running in the Miss Maine USA Pageant 2017! I've been chosen as a contestant to compete for the honor of being crowned Miss Maine USA and representing my state in competing for the national Miss USA title. This is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity that I am beyond grateful for sharing, and a dream I've had since I was a little girl! In doing so, it is my goal to grow personally in poise and confidence and to empower women, not just in my home state of Maine, but woman all around the world!
The Miss Maine Pageant is a tradition that has continued for many years. Each year the competetion opens doors and provides every woman who participates with career and educational opportunities, as well as involving contestants and titleholders in community service programs and charities.
I've chose gofundme.com as a resource for sponsorship in my campaign to help raise the funds needed to be considered as an eligible contestant. The amount needed to be eligible to compete is a fee of $1295. Any amount raised over that will go to wardrobe, gown, fitness/swimear and any additional aid needed to prepare for the competition.
