Hello,
My name is Dorothy (Didi) Wargo and I am trying to raise money for my daugher, Misty Rogers, who has become homeless. I reside in Lucedale, MS and she resides in a homeless shelter for abused women in Michigan.
Misty is currently going through a very ugly divorce and she has four (4) kids, my grand kids. She had her own place with the kids for a while but lost her job after she refused to participate in her boss' advances. Because of this, she was unable to pay her rent, which is bad enough, but it got worse. Someone put something in her gas tank which disabled her vehicle. She had to sell it as junk.
She spent some time with a friend before being accepted to a shelter for abused women. She was attacked and beaten by a man while staying at her friend's place.
Long story short, my daughter is in a world of hurt and I can't do much of anything for her. I am sending her money but I can't send enough to get her set up in her own place where she can be safe and where she could house her kids. She misses her kids terribly and I, myself, am very concerned for the kids.
The goal of this page is to raise enough money that she can once again get into her own place and stock it with groceries for herself and the kids. And to hopefully also get her an inexpsensive car that she can use to get to work and to pick up her kids.
She is walking into the business district of where she resides on a daily basis looking for work. It's not helping that she currently has a black eye from the beating she took recently.
Because she doesn't currently have a job, I will co-sign on her new place to ensure that she doesn't lose it should she not be gainfully employed soon. Misty is not a drug addict or an alchoholic. Misty is a very good person and an excellent mother so please don't feel that you would be donating to someone who is just trying to take advantage of the good folks in our world.
