Julian’s Top Surgery

Hi, my name is Julian and I am FTM (female to male) transgender. I have been doing hormone replacement therapy for one year and feel like I’m ready and in the right stage to begin planning for my top surgery. For those of you who don’t know, top surgery is basically a double mastectomy that will give me a masculine chest. Currently I use what is called a binder which is not only uncomfortable but painful after a period of time. I am planning to travel to Dallas to the American Institute for Plastic Surgery for my procedure. The surgery will help me feel more comfortable in my skin and more confident in myself.
