Foci MCGA Mobile Hot Shop
Tax deductible
PHASE 2 of fundraising BEGINS!! AUGUST 2014
Help Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts build a state-of-the-Art Mobile Hot Shop to introduce new audiences to the art and science of working with hot glass!
Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts is the only public access non-profit 501(c)(3) glass studio in the state. We serve a broad spectrum of artists from the novice to the master glass arts professional, as well as artists from other media looking to introduce glass into their work.
As part of our commitment to the community, we are striving to bring the magic, mystery and magnificence of glass arts to more people than we currently can from our Minneapolis studio--especially people with mobility issues or those living outside the metropolitan area.
Our plan is to have instructors from our outstanding Foci MCGA staff travel throught the region with our Mobile Hot Shop--introducing, teaching and providing hands-on experiences with hot glass to audiences, students and practicing glass artists in the communities where they live.
Over the past several years, we have improvised with a portable studio, doing demonstrations in front of thousands of Minnesotans. Our equipment has limited the number of events we can attend and the type of educational experiences we can offer. With a Mobile Hot Shop designed and constructed to our specifications, we can do so much more--and for so many more people!
Join us in achieving our goal of raising $50,000 with your tax-deductible contribution!
