Monster's (dog) medical expenses

My name is Jose Valentin and I'm raising funds for the injustice my dog endured from veterinary negligence and malpractice, at the hands of Dr. Wasfi in Black Rock Animal Hospital here in Bridgeport ct. Monster (dog) is a sweet, loving and TRUSTING companion that did not deserve to be treated this way. One day, Monster hurt his leg so I rushed him to the closest, 24 hour veterinarian in the area, Black Rock Animal Hospital. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of trusting the wrong vet, Dr. Wasfi, with my dog. He ensured me that they would care for my dog and treat his leg, They took an x-ray that showed a "fracture" which "needed" surgery immediately. According to the vet, it would take 4 days (surgery and recovery). I paid upfront, CASH (OVER $3000). On the 5th day, I called and asked if Monster was ready to be picked up. From then on, I was consistently given the around of "he is still too weak, we need to keep him here longer." Up until he was there for a total of 4 WEEKS. At this point, my gut started telling me that something was fishy and I needed to get my dog out. When I asked to see my dog, he didnt even want to let me in the room to see him, instead he pointed at a window through the door "you can see him from here, he's fine." I knew then, I needed to get my dog OUT which he straight out REFUSED. He told me to my face "I cant release him to you, you will have to call the cops." Unfortunately, that's exactly what I had to do. Bridgeport Police and Animal Control Officers arrived and immediately got me my dog back after seeing the condition he was in. When I dropped Monster off, he was a healthy dog minus a hurt leg, When I got him back, he was EXTREMELY malnourished and his surgery incision was not only BOTCHED but it was also INFECTED. This infection was confirmed by an emergency veterinarian hospital in North Haven. This vet also confirmed that Monster did not even need to have surgery! After posting Monsters story around, way too many victims came forward sharing their stories with me after having their pets "treated" by Dr. Wasfi. Sadly, not every pet made it out. I am here asking for your support for Monster, his now much needed therapy , medication an on going weekly medical treatments. We are thankful to all those whom have reached out not only here in Ct but all across U.S an beyond. Monster holds each an one of you close an dear to his heart as I do. GOD BLESS
