Morley SHS Class Of 83 Reunion Fund

Hello fellow Morley Senior High School Class of ’81-83 alumni!
The response so far to having a reunion in mid-October has been fantastic, and it’s awesome to see so many names from the past pop up in conversation on Facebook.
We have hit a stumbling block regarding a suitable venue: literally everywhere want a hire fee. Without reserving space, we run the risk of a venue filling up and some attendees not being able to get into the venue to join in the fun, along with other headaches.
So, to make this happen, we’ve started this crowdfunding campaign.
The goal is to raise enough money to pay a venue hire fee. This gets us guaranteed space, guaranteed bar staff to handle the numbers, and (dependant on final venue) the opportunity for us to have our own ‘80s music playlist to help jog our teenage memories.
If we raise any extra money, it will be used to provide decorations, nibbles, and so forth – it’ll all be used to ensure the night is as good as we can manage.
We’d recommend $10-$20 each to ensure we can make a reunion happen – but you’re welcome to contribute more if you’re keen, and if you’re doing it rough, just spare whatever you can manage. For that you’ll not only get to be a big part of our 35th Anniversary School Reunion, but you’ll get the bonus of a warm, fuzzy feeling that YOU made it happen.
LET’S DO THIS!
Thanks in advance, your organising committee – Leisa Cooper (nee Maumill), Mike Nagle, Shane Pinnegar & Nick Woods
