Jenny Romero is a Maplewood mom who is looking for affordable, handicapped-accessible housing for her family.
Jenny has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. Her parents provide care and support for her and her daughter Isabelle.
Isabelle has been a student at Morrow Preschool and will begin kindergarten in the fall. Jenny has been an active parent at the Preschool, helping fundraise for scholarships, assisting in the classroom and beautifying the community.
Jenny is on the waitlist for affordable housing but her housing support has run out while she was waiting. So, we are looking for two ways to help: to find an apartment for her family for $1200 per month, AND until that is found, funds to pay the difference for her current apartment ($995 per month) while she waits.
You can make a check payable to Morrow Church and put "Jenny Romero" in the memo line, or donate here. Payments will go directly to her housing expenses -- Jenny is not allowed to receive funds directly.
