Moss Hall Infant School Fundraiser

As many of you know, schools are under increasing pressure to explore other ways of funding projects.
There is a real threat of impacting the learning for thousands of schools across the country. In order for Moss Hall to avoid this from happening, we are brainstorming ways that will allow us to continue offering our best to families now and in the future.

We already acheive so much fundraising together with the Moss Hall Schools Association (MHSA) who,
through events such as the Summer and Winter fairs, raising around £12,000 per year for Moss Hall Infant School. This money has in recent years been used on updating the Sanctuary garden/outdoor classroom, buying £5,000 worth of new books for the library and, more recently, the wonderful new line markings on the school playgrounds.

This is a wonderful achievement, but we don't want to stop there!

This is where Moss Hall Infant School families can really make a difference. We would love to continue
with our outdoor improvements and incorporate some outdoor play equipment. In order to achieve this goal, we have set up a GoFundMe page as the power of many can achieve so much! We would like to ask for a suggested donation of £20 per family. Please note that this is suggested and ANY amount is gratefully appreciated. From £1 to £100, this will all help us reach this funding target.

Our aim is to fund this project by the end of the summer term, this doesn't give us long but with this short timeframe, we can ensure the project is funded & commissioned over the summer closure. What a wonderful addition to the playground this would make for September 2018!!

We have set a target of £10,000 and estimate the following expenses;
 
£2,500 - Remove tarmac and install superior soft surface

£7,500 - Source and install suitable play equipment (example in photo shown)

 Any money raised will be spent with the agreement of parents, we want everyone to be actively involved,
from fundraising to decision making. Over the next couple of months we will keep everyone up to date with milestones so please check for updates in the School Newsletter. We may even have a large thermometer showing our goals in the main office.

If you do not wish to donate via GoFundMe, we have created a "donation" page on School Money.
Most families will be familiar with this and money donated will come straight in to a protected school budget. Any money donated here will be added to our goal so please dig deep!
