My name is Jay (Josh) Shelby, Founder of Motor city delivery. A new Detroit based company allowing people to have almost anything delivered directly to them within 1 hour. Metro Detroit is making a huge come back right now and we are proud to be apart of it and want to help by creating more jobs, opportunities and a great new service to the cities we call home. This whole idea started when I saw people I know driving drunk at 1am to get fast food. I started paying more attention on social media to the amount of people that willingly driving drunk to get things. I decided I had to start a service to encourage those party goers to stay home and just have fast food delivered. It has quickly evolved to be a service for just about anyone. We deliver from Huge chains like mcdonalds to small mom and pop restaurants. We also plan on delivering business to business and person to person, allowing parents and businesses owners the opportunities to get more done by having certain things delivered. We have an amazing team of people working on this new start up and we are at the point of needing more funds to aquire a small building for employees and advertising to help our new company grow to be a household name here in the detroit area!
How I got started:
Metro Detroit is my home, and because of that I wanted to offer people an option of having almost anything delivered. Growing up I watched many friends drive drunk to get fast food and more party favors, Our goal is to help cut down on the amount of drunk drivers out there by offering them Motor City Delivery. I realized that there was a problem that needed to be solved. Not only will Motor City Delivery cut down on drunk drivers but it can also help parents that need a few things from the store, grandparents that don't drive, disabled people that have to rely on others for shopping, or just the average person that would like the convenience of having everyday items delivered.
It works!:
Motor City Delivery will be working with many businesses in the Metro Detroit area to offer you exactly what you want. We supply many local couriers with jobs delivering items to the customer within an hour. It's very easy to order from us, it's all online and user friendly. We have a team of people working on the launch of our new website and hope to bring a new Detroit APP to the world soon after.
Why I've started this campaign:
Why did I start this campaign? Because start up company's are extremely expensive at times. We have achieved amazing things so far but need to acquire more capital to push us further and build up brand awareness, and our future App. Our service is able to deliver from 'businesses to people, business to business, and person to person' so almost anyone could use this service. Our company is here in the Detroit area and asking you to help young entrepreneurs dreams come true.

Our goal is to cut down on drunk drivers, Allow parents the ability to get more done by having items delivered, allow the elderly and handicap a service that will give them more independence, give business owners the ability to transfer items from one location to another, we want to help small mom and pop restaurants by driving more customers to them and allowing them to offer delivery! Motor City Delivery wants to work with as many local people and businesses as possible . We have advertising plans in place that will help us achieve these goals. We would like to create tons of jobs here in the Detroit area by hiring Drivers, sales reps, service help, web development staff, and much more. In order to achieve these goals we need help coming up with more capital to achieve our dream of becoming Detroit's best delivery company!
